The American High Speed Rail Alliance is a leader in high speed rail professional development and networking. AHSRA hosts conferences and webinars that give members a chance to further develop professional and technical skills and network with industry leaders and others who are interested in the future of high speed rail. The Alliance’s events also serve as a valuable marketing tool for manufacturers and suppliers, providing an opportunity to network with current and potential customers.

National Conference, Regional Forums & Technical Summits
The Alliance’s regional forums and national conference bring together a diverse group of industry leaders, elected officials, suppliers, manufacturers, state DOTs, high speed rail enthusiasts and other stakeholders. These premier events offer members a variety of intensive workshops, lectures and networking opportunities that focus on a number of issues including high speed rail developments, funding sources, best practices and regional progress.
The technical summits are focused on the discussion of specific issues, incl.:
Buy America Provisions: requirements for 100% US content for manufactured products
Financing & Funding options: Public Private Partnerships (PPP) encouraging private capital investment creating more public projects; RRIF, TIFIA loan funds and credit assistance to major surface transportation projects; National Infrastructure Bank directing over $100 billion to infrastructure projects
Standards and regulations: rail requirements set for high speed systems

Building Partnerships through Networking
In addition, AHSRA provides its members with a variety of other networking opportunities including invitation only receptions with key private sector players, government parties and elected officials. The Alliance facilitates meetings between stakeholders such as labor unions, state DOTs, suppliers and buyers.

Government Meetings & Washington, DC Roundtables
By meeting with key decision makers, AHSRA members have the opportunity to focus on vital legislative issues and developments relating to the future of high speed rail. Members receive the most current information on pending legislation and collaborate with elected officials to shape high speed rail policy. Small roundtables in Wash­ington, DC give members the chance to participate in briefings with top government officials, including the Federal Railroad Administration and Department of Transportation.

Alliance members can be part of a webinar series of interactive sessions and panel discussions. These virtual conferences are a terrific opportunity to interact with other members and stakeholders without the travel time and expense of attending a conference. The online meetings offer cutting edge interactive training and educational opportunities and are offered throughout the year on trending topics that relate to high speed rail.
